How does the service work ? in plain English !?
Quite simply, you need to register, log in and complete the page to tell us what you are sending, mail to us your cheques/money orders or cash, correctly endorsed on the reverse ( just sign your name exactly as it appears on the front, and we do the rest Top
What does it cost to use Auctionchex ?
There is an admin fee of 95 pence per batch of money orders/cheques sent to us, this is to recover the cost of sending your payment back to you, and to help with our bank charges for your cheque,
For users wishing to use Autopay there is a one off fee of £3.50, which is what the banks charge us to set your mandate up. Top
OK, I sent you my money orders/cheques, but not got yours back?
Yes, we still have to rely upon Royal Mail, we do process your money orders/cheques etc on the day they are recieved by us, and post back to you the same day, normally. If your cheque from us is not with you after 5 days (weekends excluded) from you receiving your emailed statement, contact us and we will issue another cheque for you. Top
Do I need to send you my money orders etc one at a time
Not at all, send as many as you wish, but it may be better to send them recorded mail, just in case, if you have a lot to send at any one time. Top
What information do I need to send you ?
For first time users, you will need to register, and create your own personal area to complete your sendings to us, and view your exchange history. When sending money orders/cheques to us, please ensure you include your name/email address so we can match up your mail with your web submission. Top
Why do you need my email address?
Your e-mail address is needed to communicate with you! Auctionchex
may send you an e-mail messages for the following reasons:
- To email you an exchange statement of your accepted money orders
- If there is a problem with your money orders/cheques

Do my money orders/cheques have to be for eBay auctions ?
Not at all, we have many users that send us USD$ payments that are not from online auction sales. Top
Do you sell your user list / user information to spammers or any other
company ?
auctionchex.com does not spam, sell or otherwise share confidential

My money orders are 'old' can you exchange them still?.
Usually, yes, most US$money orders have a long 'shelf life' some are valid upto 3 years Top
Do you exchange US$ 'personal cheques'?
Yes we do, and at our descretion we may wish for them to clear before we exchange them (upto 28 days). We advise you to put in your listings that US$ personal cheques are accepted, but goods may be shipped on clearance (upto 28 days) Top
What type of money orders do you exchange?
We haven't come across any type of US$ money order that we cannot exchange,
Yes we can even exchange US$ money orders from Canada and Australia!. Top
What happens if a personal cheque is returned as 'unpaid'?
We inform you as soon as we can, and suggest you contact your buyer to ask for a money order to replace the unpaid cheque and extra bank fees if any were charged,
99 times out of a 100, they will send you one,
We have to deduct the money we paid out to you from your next sendings to us. This is no different than the banks would do, except they would debit your account first, then write and tell you ! Top
